Concrete Sunsets also known as Ruairi Tiernan, is a 21 year-old independent alternative artist from Kitchener, Ontario. Through an array of organic and digital instrumentation, his music has an eclectic sound ranging from alternative acoustic, to indie rock/pop. Influences from The 1975 and Phoebe Bridgers, to Radiohead and U2, make his songs and musical style diverse and refreshing. His self produced debut EP, "The Way You Move", was released in October 2021 and included four songs that mesh together with a blend of indie pop with spacey alternative. He has released several other singles including the acoustic track, "West End Grocery Fairytale" which was placed on Spotify "Fresh Finds Folk" curated playlist and has over 15k streams. Ruairi has performed live in a variety of forms including with his band at school and local shows, as a duet at concerts and charity events, and solo acoustic performances across the KW area. Concrete Sunsets social media following has helped him gain exposure both locally and globally, with thousands of followers and tens of thousands of likes, views, and listens across TikTok, Instagram, Sportify, and Apple Music.
