Type: Part-time contractor, remote, very flexible hours, occasional in person and travel required

Do you love rock music, content creation, and authentic storytelling?

We’re TuneMage Media, a music management and media company that works with emerging rock artists. We’re looking for a content creator and digital storyteller to become embedded with one of our artists, capturing real, behind-the-scenes moments from the studio to the stage, and helping shape their fan community, and add to their social presence.

This role is not just about social media - it’s about capturing the soul of rock music in the digital age. Think William Miller from Almost Famous… but 2025-style, with a camera, a mic, and a killer edit reel.

 

You’ll be the creative voice behind the camera and occasionally in front of it - interviewing artists, sharing reactions, teasing what fans can expect, and helping shape the public-facing story of a growing rock movement.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Capture behind-the-scenes content at festivals, shows, rehearsals, shoots and recording sessions.

• Edit short-form video content for private fan communities

• Conduct and appear in casual artist interviews and commentary clips

• Shape a content arc that reflects the real emotional and artistic journey

• Collaborate with the artist and team on content approvals and timing

• Repurpose the artist’s favourite community content for posting on public socials

 

Who You Are

• Emerging media creator with deep love for alt, grunge, hard rock

• Skilled in quick turnaround, high impact video editing 

• Passionate about storytelling through imagery, captions, and mood

• Comfortable on camera and behind it

• Strong communicator, self-starter, and collaborator

• Based near Kitchener/Waterloo/Toronto to attend rehearsals, shoots and recording sessions. 

• Able to travel with the band to attend festivals, shows (expenses paid).
